DURHAM, N.H. – Joseph Reilly, president and CEO of Centrix
Bank, is the featured speaker for the Holloway Seminar Series in
Entrepreneurship on Friday, Feb. 13, 2004. He will discuss “Starting
a Bank: A Personal Journey” at the New England Center on the
University of New Hampshire’s Durham campus at 7:30 p.m.
Reilly has more than 25 years of experience in the state banking
industry, serving in senior management positions at Centerpoint
Bank, Bank of New Hampshire and Fleet Bank. He is now responsible
for the direction and coordination of Centrix Bank, a state-chartered,
community-oriented bank started in 1999 to meet the demand from
customers for a personal approach to banking services. He holds
an MBA from UNH’s Whittemore School.
The Whittemore School sponsors speakers for the series to demonstrate
to students how people in the business community have succeeded
as entrepreneurs and how they have encouraged and mentored others
to succeed. The series is named in honor of Exeter businessman
and community leader Paul Holloway.
Both the lecture and a reception following are open to the public,
but seating is limited and reservations are requested. Contact
Cynthia Nizzari-McClain at the Whittemore School, 603-862-0017,
or cnmc@cisunix.unh.edu, to register or for more information.
