UNH's Whittemore School Advisory Board Member Hans Baumann in Top 50 for Technology Expertise

DURHAM, N.H. - Hans Baumann, advisory board member of the University of New Hampshire's Whittemore School of Business and Economics and founder of H.D. Baumann Inc. in Portsmouth, recently was named by InTech magazine as one of the 50 most innovative people in automation, instrumentation and control technologies.

According to InTech, Baumann's expertise in flow control technologies, control valve designs and noise prediction methods for control valves is among the world's best. He is a past director of the ISA Standards and Practices Department and serves the nation as a technical expert for control valves on international standards committees.

InTech is the journal of ISA-The Instrumentation, Systems and Automation Society.

H.D. Baumann Inc., now a subsidiary of Emerson/Fisher, manufactures valves for the pharmaceutical, biotechnical, food, semiconductor and other industries.
