DURHAM, N.H. – Award-winning actress Meryl Streep will hold a news conference from 9 - 9:30 a.m. in the Field House at the University of New Hampshire Saturday, May 24. Streep is the keynote speaker at the university’s 133rd Commencement, which will follow the news conference at 10 a.m. in Cowell Stadium.

Because of Streep’s popularity, only credentialed press will have access to the news conference, which will be held in the first-floor conference room at the Field House, which is next to Cowell Stadium and across the street from A-Lot.

News organizations planning to attend the news conference and Commencement that have not confirmed plans with the UNH News Bureau are asked to do so. Please provide the names of reporters, photographers and videographers who will be covering the events from your organization.

Reserved parking for television satellite trucks is available in A-Lot. Space is limited; news organizations planning to park a truck on campus should reserve space with the News Bureau. Other news media may park in A-Lot in general parking.

During Commencement, a platform will be available for television cameras as well as feeds for radio outlets. Reporters will be seated in an area reserved for press only.

Confirmation should be made to Lori Gula at 603-862-0574 or
