DURHAM, N.H. -- The University of New Hampshire will hold its 133rd Commencement Saturday, May 24, at 10 a.m. in Cowell Stadium. Because of the popularity of the keynote speaker, Academy Award-winning actress Meryl Streep, news organizations planning to cover Commencement are asked confirm plans for coverage by Wednesday, May 21, and reserve media passes to ensure that UNH can accommodate the needs of all news outlets.

Streep will be available to take questions from the press prior to Commencement at a morning news conference on campus. The press will be notified at a later date regarding the time and location of the news conference.

Please confirm with the UNH News Bureau who will be covering the event from your organization, including the names of reporters, photographers and videographers. Space for satellite trucks is limited; news organizations planning to park a truck on campus should reserve space with the News Bureau.

In addition, news organizations should inform the News Bureau of any special press needs. A platform will be available for television cameras as well as feeds for radio outlets. Reporters will be seated in an area reserved for press only.
