Editors, News Directors: You are invited to attend the public forum about the update of UNH's Campus Master Plan.
DURHAM, N.H. -- The University of New Hampshire will hold a public forum Wednesday, May 7, from 4:30 to 6 p.m., in the Memorial Union Building Theatre II, to discuss with the university and Durham communities the progress of the Campus Master Plan update process.
Consultants Ayers/Saint/Gross and campus planning staff will present and summarize observations, principles and concepts developed during precinct and committee meetings held this winter and spring, and solicit discussion on preliminary master plan components.
Updating the master plan involves an extensive review of the university's facilities, landscape and infrastructure, and establishes a vision for changes to the campus that could occur incrementally over the next 20 years.
UNH is approximately half way through the plan project and has had extensive public participation and constituent input. The Campus Master Plan update is expected to be completed by the end of 2003, and must be approved by the USNH Board of Trustees.
