UNH Family Business Center Workshop Explores Leadership Challenges

DURHAM, N.H. -- A rapidly changing global economy presents unique leadership challenges for today's family businesses. The University of New Hampshire's Center for Family Business is offering an intergenerational, hands-on workshop, "New Direction in Leadership for a New Generation of Leaders," Wednesday, February 5, 2003, at the Elliott Alumni Center, 9 Edgewood Road in Durham. Dr. Stephen Fink, an organizational behaviorist and professor emeritus from the Whittemore School of Business and Economics, will facilitate the program.

Registration and a continental breakfast will begin at 8 a.m., followed by the program from 8:30 a.m. until noon; and then lunch and networking. An optional, bonus program takes place from 1-2:30 p.m. to explore "Estate Taxes: Will I Still Have Them?" Estate tax planning, trusts, and recent tax changes will be discussed. Registration is recommended by January 27. Non-member registration fee is $125.
