UNH Hosts Conference on Conflict April 11-12 By Erika

DURHAM, N.H. - The University of New Hampshire will host an interdisciplinary conference on war and conflict April 11-12, 2003, in the Memorial Union Building. The conference is organized by graduate students in the Department of English and cosponsored by the Center for the Humanities. Forty presenters from Nigeria, France, Italy, Iceland, the United Kingdom and the United States will discuss all aspects of conflict and resolution. The conference will open Friday, April 11, at 7:30 p.m. with an address by Michael Ferber, professor of English at UNH, on "Romantic Pens and Tyrant's Swords." Sessions run all day Saturday.
