Encouraging Employee Development is Topic of UNH's October CEO ForumBy Janet Lathrop UNH News Bureau 603-862-1462 September 25, 2002 DURHAM, N.H. -- Dick Couch, Jr., CEO and chair of the board of Hypertherm, Inc., of Hanover, is the featured speaker for the University of New Hampshire's Whittemore School of Business and Economics' CEO Forum Thursday, Oct. 3, 2002. Hypertherm was named the best large company to work for in New Hampshire by Business New Hampshire Magazine in 2001, and the 12th best in the nation by Fortune Magazine. It provides high quality ultra-high temperature technology to industrial customers worldwide. Couch, who cofounded Hypertherm in 1968, will discuss the benefits for a company that provides for the well-being of its more than 500 employees and for their personal and professional development. The forum opens with a breakfast buffet at 8:30 a.m. at the New England Center on campus in Durham, with the program following from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Annual membership in the CEO Forum is $695, which includes breakfast for two at five seminars.
