UNH, NHPTV, Business & Industry Assn. of N.H. Will Host U.S. Senate Candidate Forum Oct. 21

DURHAM, N.H. -- A forum for candidates seeking election to the U.S. Senate seat from New Hampshire will be held Monday, Oct. 21, at 7 p.m. at the Memorial Union Building on the UNH campus and broadcast live on NHPTV, Channel 11.
Candidates are Libertarian Ken Blevens, Democrat Jeanne Shaheen and Republican John E. Sununu. The forum, featuring questions from a panel of business leaders, UNH faculty and students, will be moderated by Ali McNair, host of New Hampshire Public Television's program, N.H. Outlook.
"NH Votes 2002: Forums with the Candidates" is sponsored by the Whittemore School of Business & Economics at the University of New Hampshire, NHPTV and the Business & Industry Association of N.H. It is free and open to the public. Because of the live broadcast, doors will close ten minutes before the scheduled start time. Once seated, audience members will be asked not to leave the room.
