DURHAM, N.H. -- A memorial service will be held for Professor Emeritus Robert LeBlanc on Friday, Sept. 21, from 4 to 5 p.m. in Johnson Theatre on the campus of the University of New Hampshire. A UNH professor of geography since 1963, LeBlanc was on board United Flight 175 when it crashed into the World Trade Center Sept. 11.

The service will be immediately followed by a gathering of family and friends to celebrate his life in the Granite State Room of the Memorial Union Building.

Out of respect for the family's wishes, the media is asked to refrain from covering the service.

Parking and directions:

Parking is available for those attending the memorial service in "B" lot at the corner of Mill Road and McDaniel Drive. This is a parking lot usually reserved for faculty and staff.
