DURHAM, N.H. -- The 25th annual Family Weekend at the University of New Hampshire will be held from Friday, Nov. 2, through Sunday, Nov. 4, on the Durham campus. Academic showcase lectures offer families an opportunity to step back into the classroom and see how it has changed over the years, and tours, performances and exhibitions will be available to students and their families all weekend.
"Explore UNH" will guide parents and families through just a few of the facilities that make UNH special -- from a backstage peek at Johnson Theatre and a close-up view of the Amphibious Mini Baja vehicle to tours of the Electron Microscope Facility and the Thompson School Horticulture Facility.
Highlights include a reception with President Joan Leitzel Saturday, Nov. 3, from 4 to 6 p.m., and a skating extravaganza with the men's and women's hockey teams Sunday, Nov. 4, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Whittemore Center.
