UNH Art Gallery Hosts Sale of Works by Regional ArtistsBy Jennifer Vento

DURHAM, N.H. -- The Art Gallery at the University of New Hampshire will host its third "Art-Appeal," a sale of fine arts and crafts by 64 of the region's finest visual artists, Friday, June 8, through Sunday, June 10. Ceramics, paintings, baskets, drawings, prints, photographs, furniture, sculpture and jewelry will be offered at the sale. Proceeds from the event will be split between the artists and the gallery's programming.
A public reception will be held Friday, June 8, from 5 to 7 p.m. to honor the artists and their donations. A door prize, elegant earrings made by jewelry designer Donna Heald, will be awarded at the end of the sale.
The hours of the sale are Friday, June 8, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday, June 9, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and Sunday, June 10, from noon to 4 p.m. Sales will be made by cash or check only. Credit cards will not be accepted. Works purchased on Friday, June 8, may not be removed until Saturday.
