DURHAM, N.H. -- The University of New Hampshire's Whittemore School of Business and Economics will hold its annual hooding ceremony to honor full- and part-time MBA, MA Economics and MS Accounting graduates Friday, May 18 from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. in the Strafford Room at the Memorial Union Building on campus.
Featured speaker will be Piyush Patel, chairman and chief executive officer of Cabletron Systems of Rochester. The company is a leader in computer network equipment such as routers and switches, employing more than 5,000 people worldwide and with $1.4 billion in sales. Patel has more than 20 years experience in the high tech industry, having served in technical and management roles at Intel, Sun Microsystems, MIPS Systems, QED and YAGO Systems. He holds a Master's degree in Engineering from the University of Wisconsin in Madison.
Whittemore School graduates will be hooded by Dean Steve Bolander and David Hiley, UNH provost and vice president for academic affairs.
