DURHAM, N.H. -- Six University of New Hampshire undergraduates have earned membership in the French National Honor Society Pi Delta Phi. The following students were selected based on their grade point average and recommendations from UNH faculty in the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures: Sasha Cook of Bellingham, Washington; Jeffrey Donald of Exeter; Cheryl Francis of Chester; Erin Hankin of Brentwood; Shelly Lamb of Merrimack; and Aspasia Vasilopoulos of Manchester. Continuing members include Deborah Bennett of Jaffrey; Elka Jones of Pelham; William Mason of Priest River, Idaho; and Thomas Wing of Londonderry. Initiation of new members will be held Thursday, May 3, at 4:30 p.m. in room 207 of Murkland Hall. Family and friends of new initiates are invited to attend the ceremony, which will be conducted by Professor Barbara Cooper, moderator of the Mu Psi chapter of Pi Delta Phi. |
