DURHAM, N.H. -- The University of New Hampshire's Therapeutic Riding Program is seeking volunteers for its summer session. No prior experience with horses or with the program is necessary. Volunteers will assist during lessons and help provide riders with a safe, positive and beneficial experience in therapeutic riding.
The six-week session begins July 10 and ends Aug. 15. Classes are held Tuesdays and Wednesdays from noon to 3 p.m. Volunteers are also needed before and after classes to help with the set up and clean up of the horses and facility. They may stay for the duration of the class or come for a smaller block of time. For information or to sign up, call (603) 862-0131.
