UNH Offers Holloway Seminar in Entrepreneurship March 2

DURHAM, N.H. -- Kevin McGovern, chairman and CEO of McGovern Capital LLC, New York City, is the featured speaker at the Whittemore School of Business and Economics Holloway Seminar in Entrepreneurship set for Friday, March 2, from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at the New England Center on the University of New Hampshire campus in Durham.
McGovern, an expert in joint ventures and business alliances, serves on the board of directors of the largest sporting goods retailer in the U.S. and is a founder or key shareholder in more than 20 companies, six of which are worldwide leaders in their industry product categories. His company, McGovern Capital LLC, invests in early-stage capital and provides legal, tax, accounting and other services to investment companies. The title of his talk is "Using Proprietary Rights to Build World Leaders."
The Whittemore School sponsors the seminar each spring to showcase business leaders who exemplify the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship. The lecture is named in honor of Exeter businessman Paul Holloway.
