DURHAM, N.H. -- The Sept. 28 CEO Forum at the University of New Hampshire will feature UNH alumnus Carl Spang, president and founder of the Kestrel Group Inc., a service provider in Enterprise Resource Planning, process engineering and business-to-business e-commerce.
The forum, to be held at the New England Conference Center from 8:30 to 10 a.m., includes a buffet breakfast.
As a B2B consultant, Spang has worked with electronics firms, paper companies, equipment manufacturers and automotive parts producers. Prior to founding the Kestrel Group in 1994, he worked with Kodak, IBM and Digital Equipment Corporation, holding positions in manufacturing, materials management and information technology.
Spang will be joined by Peter Dempsey, chief executive officer of Security Engineered Machines (SEM), in Westborough, Mass.
Dempsey has been marketing and selling his companyžs document disposal and media equipment online for the last five years. He will discuss SEMžs challenges in doing e-commerce, sharing the pros and cons of the cyber-business world.
