DURHAM, N.H. -- Do you want to know more about the health of our estuaries and coastline? Great Bay Coast Watch, a group of seacoast residents working with the University of New Hampshire Cooperative Extension / Sea Grant, is looking for additional volunteers for a variety of ongoing coastal projects.
These projects include baseline monitoring for water quality, walking shorelines looking for and sampling possible pollution sources and a hazardous algae bloom (red tide), and sampling and identifying phytoplankton populations on a weekly basis.
No previous experience is necessary, and training is provided. For more information contact Ann Reid, UNH Sea Grant Extension, at 603-749-1565, or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org; or Candace Dolan, at 603-926-7171, or by email at email@example.com.
