DURHAM, N.H. -- University of New Hampshire President Joan Leitzel will deliver her State of the University Address Tuesday, Sept. 14, at 12:30 p.m., in the Granite State Room of the Memorial Union Building.
Members of the university community and the public are invited to attend the approximately hour-long presentation, which will include a review of university achievements, challenges and goals for the year ahead, remarks by UNH's new Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs David Hiley, and a year-in-review video. Also planned is a presentation by Professors Paul Brockelman and Eberhard Moebius.
Among the topics Leitzel will discuss are the university budget, faculty and student awards, athletic achievements, academic technology, and the upcoming $100-million capital campaign -- the institution's largest ever fund raising endeavor.
A reception and refreshments will follow President Leitzel's address.
