DURHAM, N.H. -- Beginning July 7, 2009, the New England Center Hotel and Conference Center at the University of New Hampshire will no longer be open for hot breakfast in the restaurant. A continental breakfast will be available for hotel guests in the lobby of the hotel.
The center's award-winning dining will continue to be available for lunch and dinner, as well as Sunday brunch from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
"Like any business we continually review our services and offerings," said David May, assistant vice president of business affairs at UNH. "With overall business down the numbers no longer justify the expense of providing a breakfast service every day. This move will allow us to redirect our limited resources to more strategic services."
The University of New Hampshire, founded in 1866, is a world-class public research university with the feel of a New England liberal arts college. A land, sea, space-grant and community-engaged university, UNH is the state's flagship public institution, enrolling 11,800 undergraduate and 2,400 graduate students.
