Thompson School Students Receive Big E Scholarships

DURHAM, N.H. -- Three first-year students at the University of New Hampshire’s Thompson School of Applied Science received $1,000 scholarships from the New Hampshire Grant Committee at Eastern States Exposition (“Big E) for their FFA and 4-H work. The students are:

  • Sarah Smith of Danville
  • Bryan Tasker of Strafford
  • Justine Mary Morris of Haverhill

The scholarships were presented in September at The Big E in West Springfield, Mass., New England’s largest fair. More than 100 New Hampshire FFA and 4-H members have received Big E Scholarships totaling over $100,000 since the program began in 1979.
