WHAT: Ross Gittell, James R Carter professor and professor of management at the University of New Hampshire, will outline the economic development challenges and opportunities in the Seacoast region at the summit “Maine and New Hampshire: Looking Beyond the Shipyard -- Finding the Common Ground On Which to Advance Our Regional Economy.”

WHEN: 8:30 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2006

WHERE: Sheraton Harborside Hotel, Portsmouth

DETAILS: Gittell will present his findings with Charles Colgan, professor at the University of Southern Maine at the half-day summit, which begins at 8:30 a.m. Other speakers include New Hampshire Gov. John Lynch, Maine Gov. John Baldacci, former Maine Gov. Angus King and Neal Peirce, author, nationally syndicated columnist, and chairman of the Citistates.
