Portsmouth Herald: Slow Food Seacoast Thanksgiving feast has record turnout
While everyone expected great food made from ingredients produced or grown within 100 miles of Portsmouth, organizers were happily shocked at the turnout — about three times the number of people who attended last year. Slow Food volunteers scrambled to add tables to accommodate the 150 people who showed up to celebrate the harvest and donate their $5 admission fee to the University of New Hampshire Cornucopia Food Pantry's Baskets of Hope program.
