Parks, adjunct professor in political science, has won the Hay-Nicolay
Dissertation prize. The $5,000 prize is one of the largest, if not
largest, dissertation award with respect to monetary amount. The
dissertation was done at Boston University under advisor Professor
Angelo Codevilla. The title is “Self-Evident No More: The
Generation After The Founders.”
Udo Schlentrich, director of the UNH William Rosenberg International
Center of Franchising, has received a $25,000 gift from the
Rosenberg Family Trust for technology upgrades and a $5,000 gift
from Bob Naser for the Rosenberg Archive.
The following individuals were recognized for their outstanding
work at the VPFA Expanded Staff meeting held at Holloway Commons
Feb. 19. Project FRESH Team Award: Stephanie Behan, Controller’s
Office; Sarah Flause, Computing & Information Services; Jennifer
Lorenc, VPFA Office; David Proulx, VPFA Office; and Alice Samuel,
Controller’s Office. CIS Team Award – Blackboard Project:
Joanne Adams, Academic Technology; Randy Carver, Enterprise Computing;
Renee Cicerchi, Enterprise Computing; Eileen Cooley, Enterprise
Computing; Bruce Davies, Help Desk Professional Services; Mike Giordano,
Academic Technology; and Simon Karpen, Client Services.
