Embrace Life Fully program expands
The Embrace Life Fully (ELF) program has expanded coverage for the Life Line Screening Prevention Program to include benefits eligible spouses/same-gender partners of USNH employees. Life Line will offer three noninvasive and pain-free screenings utilizing advanced Doppler ultrasound, which can check for vascular disease. The screenings are carotid artery/stroke, abdominal aortic aneurysm and peripheral arterial disease. The three screenings cost $99, but ELF will subsidize $25 of the cost of the program. Public forum held on storm water management
UNH will hold a public forum to discuss the requirements of the campus Storm Water Management Program. The forum will provide the campus community with an opportunity to give feedback about the program or ask questions related to storm water management. It will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 31, in the Piscataqua Room of Holloway Commons. Representatives of UNH, municipal and state governments, and other concerned parties are invited to attend the meeting. UNH will provide a summary of the questions and answers from the forum and will post this information on the UNH Storm Water Management Web site. Are you interested in the V.P. Discretionary Grant Fund?
Applications are being accepted for FY04 discretionary grants. Application guidelines are available in the VPR&PS office. For additional information contact Kathy Mandsager, at 2-1997, kathy.mandsager@unh.edu. The deadline for receipt of proposals is April 15.

Meetings set on summer work-study program
The Financial Aid Office is preparing for the Summer Federal Work-Study Program. Student Applications are available in the Financial Aid Office and online at www.unh.edu/financial-aid. Departments will receive information in the mail. The Financial Aid Office is offering two informational meetings on the Summer Federal Work-Study Program: Tuesday, March 9, 10 a.m., MUB Room 332, and Wednesday, March 10, 2 p.m., MUB room 330. Student Admissions reps needed
The Admissions Office is seeking nominations and recommendations for energetic, outgoing students for our volunteer admissions “rep” program. Interested students may obtain applications at Grant House. The deadline for students to submit applications for the 2004-2005 academic year is April 2.
