American
Cancer Society Daffodil Days is happening
The Campus Recreation Department is coordinating collections for
Daffodil Days flower sales. Individuals can purchase bouquets of
10 daffodils for $7 by writing a check (to the American Cancer Society)
and placing the order at the front desk of the Recreation Center
(during all open hours) by Tuesday, Feb. 24. Checks only please.
Individuals may also pick up an order form and coordinate collections
within departments, fraternities/sororities, apartment units, dorms,
or schools. This person would also be the contact point for delivery
and distribution when the flowers arrive. The flowers will be delivered
the week of March 22-26 to the Campus Recreation Office. Once they
arrive all will be called to come and pick them up as soon as possible.
Admissions is seeking student representatives
The Admissions Office is seeking nominations and recommendations
for energetic, outgoing students for our volunteer admissions “rep”
program. This group provides visiting prospective students and their
families with an inside look at UNH and its programs through daily
tours of campus, informational sessions, open houses and other related
programs. Interested students may obtain applications at Grant House.
The deadline for students to submit applications for the 2004-2005
academic year is April 2. Questions, nominations and recommendations
may be directed to Erika Chapin in Admissions at 2-2873 or erika.chapin@unh.edu.
It’s inspection time for university vehicles
All university vehicles (U-Plate vehicles) must be inspected during
the months of February and March. Valid inspection stickers must
be in place on all vehicles by March 31. Please stop by the Automotive
Garage to schedule your appointment or call 2-3937 or 2-2746.
Applications for 2004 FITSI program are due Feb. 27
Applications for the third annual Faculty Instructional Technology
Summer Institute (FITSI) are due Friday, Feb. 27. Sponsored by CIS
Academic Technology, the institute will be held at UNH June 7-11.
The institute is a hands-on training program offered to faculty
and instructors in full-time, permanent positions at UNH. Programming
for the week includes workshops and presentations by UNH instructional
technology staff along with sessions facilitated by recognized leaders
in the field outside of UNH. Faculty selected to participate will
receive a free PC or Macintosh laptop computer for teaching or personal

Aid applications due March 1
The 2004-05 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is
available at the Financial Aid Office, in the basement of Stoke
Hall or online at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
The 2004-05 FAFSA deadline is March 1.
