Train Station Renovation Wins Preservation Award

The renovation of the UNH-Durham Transit Station has earned an award from the New Hampshire Preservation Alliance. The 2009 Preservation Achievement Award was presented to UNH representatives Tuesday, May 12, at a ceremony in Concord.

The $940,000 project, completed last fall, added a ticket kiosk, restrooms and a new indoor waiting area to the 1895 station.
