Hundreds of poinsettias in multiple colors will be on display during the first Poinsettia Trials Open House at the Research greenhouses. The showing will include more than 80 poinsettia varieties.

The event is a collaborative effort that brings research to breeders, growers, and the public. Visitors will assist in research by recording their favorite pointsettas from among new and different varieties, including some that are not yet available and are being shown for the first time.
 
The open house starts Wednesday, Dec. 6 and runs through Friday, Dec. 8, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday and Friday and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday.

A broad selection of the many poinsettia varieties will be available for purchase on all three days. Metered parking is available at the Visitor Center across from the greenhouses.
