Aerial Dance, Puppetry and Storytelling

The Theatre and Dance department will present three shows during the first full week of December featuring original student work that includes design, choreograph, directing, and performing.

All shows start at 7 p.m.

Dec. 6: Aerial Dance, Newman Dance Studio at New Hampshire Hall. Come see these amazing student performances in aerial arts, trapeze, lyra, and fabric. Tickets must be purchased in advance. No tickets will be sold at the door.

Dec. 7: Puppetry and Storytelling, Hennessy Theatre at the Paul Creative Arts Center. Children and adults will be captivated by a variety of puppets and lively, creative stories offered by the UNH Puppetry students. Original puppetry presentations will feature hand and rod, shadow, and life-size puppets, and storytelling elements.

Dec. 8: Dance Showcase, Johnson Theatre at the Paul Creative Arts Center. This eclectic evening of dance performance will include a wide range of dance forms and styles; from jazz and tap, to hip-hop and ballet.

Tickets are $3.50 each and proceeds will benefit Theatre and Dance scholarships. Advanced ticket purchase is recommended. Contact the MUB ticket office Monday through Friday between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. at 2-2290. The Theatre lobby box office at Paul Creative Arts Center opens one hour prior to curtain time.
