Interested in summer Yoga at the Rec Center?
UNH Hamel Recreation has identified a Yoga instructor for the summer months. Her name is Claire VanHorn, and she will begin Tuesday May 23. The program will run 11:15 a.m.-12:30 p.m. every Tuesday for 6 weeks (5/23-6/27). If there are enough paid participants, she will be available for another 6 week session from 7/11-8/15. Cost is $30/session (6 classes) for UNH students or Rec Center members, $50 for all others. Please sign up and pay at the Rec Center front desk during any open hours.  If you plan on attending but can not make it over here before Tuesday, please call and put your name on the list. Then you can pay on Tuesday before taking the class.  We must have enough paid participants by Tuesday after class to continue with the program. Faculty/Staff Parking Permit Renewals
Faculty/Staff parking permit holders should expect personalized renewal documents to be delivered by mail to their home addresses by mid-June. Only those whose permits were renewed and valid for 05-06 will receive renewal documents for 06-07. If your address has changed since last spring, be sure to notify Transportation Services directly so that your renewal document will reach you. Any unpaid parking tickets on your account must be paid before your permit can be renewed; please square your account right away. A permit renewal "preview" informational letter will be sent to the campus addresses of all employees. Please read and carefully note the information and instructions there. Any questions about permit sales and renewals may be directed to Transportation Services at 862-1010. (05-17-06)

Tree Planted in Memory of Charles H. Leighton
A red horse chestnut tree was planted on campus adjacent to Murkland Hall in memory of Charles H. Leighton, Ph.D., Professor Emeritus. Doctor Leighton taught at UNH for 38 years in the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures, retiring in May 1994. The tree was donated in his memory by his friends, colleagues and family and will be identified by a planting marker and in the Book of Names found at the Dimond Library. The tree planting was coordinated by the Campus Planning Office as part of the Memorials and Tributes program at UNH. For more information on the program, contact Stephen Pesci in the Campus Planning Office at 2-4207. (05-17-06)

Refill Your Cartridges at Printing Services
UNH Printing Services now offers a cartridge refilling service for both inkjet and laser printers. This can save up to 50 percent on the cost of a new cartridge, and keep the “empties” out of the trash. Because the refill process usually takes a day, Printing Services will inventory refills of the more commonly used cartridges. Outright purchases of a refilled cartridge may be made at anytime. All refills are 100 percent guaranteed to work. Our primary distribution point will be the MUB Copy Center located on level 2 east of the MUB but we will make pick-ups at any campus office. For more information, call 2-0530.  (03-01-06)
