Child Study Center To Host Auction That Only A Fool Would Miss On April 1

The UNH Child Study and Development Center (CSDC) will hold its second annual spring auction Saturday, April 1, 2006. Open to all, the event at the Eliot Alumni Center from 4:30 – 7:30 p.m. promises an enjoyable evening of great bargains, friendly competition, and plenty of laughter.

This year’s event will include both a silent and live auction. Light appetizers, as well as beer and wine, will be served as part of the entrance ticket for this adult-only event. Over 100 auction items such as restaurant gift certificates, tickets to athletic events, artwork, and memberships are being donated by businesses and individuals throughout the Durham and greater Seacoast area. Items will also include pottery created by the CSDC children in collaboration with a local clay artist.

This year’s auction proceeds have been earmarked for the installation of a new outdoor learning space, the Artist-in Residency program, and staff professional development. Tickets are $10 per person and can be ordered by calling Tracy Burns at (603) 862-2835 or at the door on the day of the event.
