Traditional Jazz Series Presents Geoff Keezer Feb. 20

The precocious performer whose career began auspiciously at age 17 as the last pianist in Art Blakey’s Jazz Messengers, brings the fullness of his talent and experience at twice that age to the UNH Traditional Jazz Series Monday, Feb. 20. Originally inspired by Oscar Peterson, Duke Ellington and his mentor James Williams, Geoff has absorbed the richness of historical and contemporary idioms into a compelling personal style both energetic and reflective. He will be assisted by bassist Mike Pope and drummer Terreon Gully.
