The student directory has been moved from its previous location on the UNH homepage to Blackboard, a password-protected website. The Computer and Information Services administration conducted the recent move that will allow only those with UNH system login information to view details of students’ personal information.
In past years, members of the UNH community had expressed concern for the personal privacy of UNH students. The Student Senate passed a resolution last October to prot6ect the privacy of student information, however previous technology prevented the move of the directory until recently,
According to the Bill Baber coordinator for Computer and Information Services, the functionality is identical to the original directory. The only change has been to convert the presentation to conform to Blackboard standards.
To access the student directory, the UNH community is instructed
to log into MyUNH, select the “MyUNH Resources” tab,
and in the “Explore UNH” menu on the lower left of
the window select “Student Directory.” Included in
a student’s personal information are his or her name, campus
address and phone number, and permanent residence.
