Textile Exhibition Transforms Old Fire Station

The Office of Sponsored Research recently renovated the second floor of the old Fire Station, woodworking and pottery shop building on College Road. Instead of decorating the suites in the traditional manner, the office mounted a textile exhibition by New Hampshire commercial textile designer Amala Maeve Matthews.

Betsy Benjamin, a renown international textile artist and a New Hampshire resident, said the exhibit completely transformed the office into something more than just an office. The university community is invited to view the exhibit, "From the Attic: An Exhibition Retrospective from Amala Maeve Matthews."
