Are you interested in developing your leadership and supervisory skills, learning how to work more effectively with others, creating successful groups, and working in a nonprofit or community-based organization?
If so, you may want to join other UNH students and staff, nonprofit organization members, and community volunteers who take classes through UNH’s new associate degree and diploma program in Community Leadership.
Now in its sixth year, the program prepares students to work with diverse groups of people, analyze community issues and their causes, organize projects and events, facilitate meetings, start a nonprofit, write grants—and much, much more!
Here is what some of other UNH staff about their experiences with CSL courses:
“I think this was the best class I’ve taken at UNH in years of coursework. It was an inspiring yet grounded class.”
“Great class…it will help me as a professional working in the community.”
“This course was incredible…They have created an incredibly innovative program and make it work. The course got so much done and taught us a lot as well.”
“In my four years here this is one of the best classes I’ve had.”
“Very useful class—glad I was able to take it!”
Because of a recent vote by the UNH Faculty Senate, baccalaureate students can now take TSAS courses as electives for full credit, with the permission of an advisor.
The following courses will be offered in the fall. All of our
courses are experiential and skills-based with a focus on application
to real-life issues and situations.
