Representatives from CIGNA HealthCare will be available on campus to answer member questions. The dates are Tuesday, April 25, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., MUB 338; Tuesday, May 2, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., MUB 330; Monday, May 8, noon to 3 p.m., MUB 207; and Wednesday, May 10, 1 to 3 p.m., MUB 207.

Thompson Hall Restoration Underway
Thompson Hall, the centerpiece and graphic identity of the University of New Hampshire, was constructed in 1892 as the first building on the Durham campus. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1996. Yet, despite its rich, 113-year history as one of the most recognizable and elegant academic buildings in New England, it has not had a major exterior restorative effort since it was built. UNH Receives EPA’s “Best Workplaces for Commuters” Designation Third Year in a Row
For the third straight year, UNH has been awarded the distinction of being one of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s “Best Workplaces for Commuters.” UNH is one of 65 universities that met the criteria to earn the right to be called one of the best workplaces for commuters and one of only seven employers in the state of New Hampshire. Earth Day on Great Bay
N.H. Governor John Lynch came to Durham Friday (April 21) to celebrate Earth Day with a research-focused cruise around Great Bay. Hosted by vice president for research and public service John Aber, Lynch spent several hours aboard UNH’s R/V Kingsbury with UNH researchers and regional conservation and stewardship partners learning about efforts to protect the Great Bay estuary.
