UNH Faculty Concert Series Opens the 2005-2006 Season with Larry Veal and Christopher Kies

The UNH Department of Music Faculty Concert Series opens its 2005-2006 season with Larry Veal, violoncello and Christopher Kies, piano, performing Beethoven’s D Major Sonata for Piano and Violoncello. Also included on the program is Zoltan Kodaly’s Sonata for Unaccompanied ‘Cello, Op. 8, undoubtedly the most significant work for solo ‘cello since J. S. Bach.

The concert is scheduled to take place in the Johnson Theatre of the Paul Creative Arts Center on the Durham campus beginning at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11, 2005, and is free and open to the public. For more information, call the UNH Department of Music at 2-2404.
