Concert Choir Performs Oct. 21
The Department of Music Concert Choir presents a program of works
from the early 20th century Oct. 21 at 8 p.m.
Works will include the Te Deum in B Flat by Charles Stanford,
and excerpts from two great Slavic masterworks; Sergei Rachmaninov’s
Vespers and Karol Szymanowsky’s Stabat Mater.
Also included are short works by Canadian composer Healey Willan
and a rousing setting of Psalm 148 by Gustav Holst.
Under the direction of conductor William Kempster and accompanied
by the UNH student brass ensemble and organist Paul Merrill, the
concert will take place in the Johnson Theatre, PCAC.
