UNH Announces New General Manager For NEC

Stanley W. Martin has been appointed general manager for the New England Center at the University of New Hampshire. Martin is a graduate of the Whittemore School of Business and Economics Hospitality Management program and the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration.

Martin most recently worked for Winegardner and Hammons Hotels, where he was responsible for the operations of a 295-room Marriott property in Connecticut generating $13 million in revenue. He brings more than 21 years of experience managing and developing full-service and select-service hotels as well as conference centers and has been recognized for outstanding performance through several corporate awards. He joins UNH Oct. 3, 2005.
