'All My Sons' Runs Nov. 30 to Dec. 4

The Department of Theatre and Dance is pleased to announce "All My Sons" by Arthur Miller Nov. 30 – Dec. 4 at the Hennessy Theatre, PCAC. Miller is one of America’s greatest playwrights and the winner of the New York Drama Critics’ Circle Award.

Showtimes are 7 p.m., Nov. 30 to Dec. 3, and 2 p.m. Dec. 4.

In Miller’s searing play, the devastation of World War II and the perfidy of a small manufacturing company intersect at the perfect home of a family that strives to achieve the American dream.  Buried beneath a facade of pride, loyalty, and even patriotism we find business corruption and a secret that can no longer be hidden.

“Walkin’ down the street that day I was as guilty as hell. Except I wasn’t, and there was a court paper in my pocket to prove I wasn’t — Fourteen months later I had one of the best shops in the state again, a respected man again; bigger than ever.” —Arthur Miller, "All My Sons."

The consequences of delusion, greed, and self-deception are fatal. Miller’s themes span generations and continents. Truth in fiction?  Examine the social state of America. We are at war again. A soldier cries, “I’m in your family, too!” What is our ending?
