Colloquium Features Discussion of Mohicans Nov. 18
 
James Oberly, professor of history at the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire, will discuss “A Nation of Firsts: The Mohicans Who Refused to Disappear from History” Friday, Nov. 18, from noon to 1 p.m. in MUB room 340. The colloquium is sponsored by the Department of History and the program in American Studies.

Oberly is the author of A Nation of Statesmen: The Political Culture of the Stockbridge-Munsee Monhicans, 1815-1972.
