UNH Thompson School of Applied Science holds commencement Saturday,
May 14
The
Thompson School of Applied Science will hold its annual Commencement
at
11 a.m. Saturday, May 14, 2005, at the Lundholm Gymnasium in
the Field House on the Durham Campus. Renee Riedel, vice president
of marketing with Two International Group of Portsmouth, will give
the Commencement address, “Hopscotching Through Life!”
Graduates will have completed a two-year course of study in applied
animal science, business management, civil technology, community
service and leadership, dietetic technician, forest technology,
horticultural technology and restaurant management.

UNH Whittemore School holds hooding ceremony Friday, May 20
The University of New Hampshire Whittemore School of Business
and Economics will hold its annual graduate programs hooding ceremony
Friday, May 20, 2005. Students will be awarded hoods commemorating
the Master of Business Administration, Master of Arts in Economics,
Ph.D. in Economics, and the Master of Science in Accounting.
The
ceremony begins at 2 p.m. in the Johnson Theater at the Paul
Creative
Arts Center on the Durham campus. Students nominated the
speakers from their peers. This year’s speakers are Anthony "Tony" Marrese,
master’s in accounting; Anthony "Tony" Andronaco,
part-time MBA, Durham; Glenn Margosian, part-time MBA, Manchester;
Lucas Caron, full-time MBA; and Scott Wright, Executive MBA. A
