Faculty Concert Series: The Hampshire Consort presents Renaissance Band April 10

The Department of Music Faculty Concert Series presents the Hampshire Consort, a resident faculty early music ensemble, in concert on Sunday, April 10, at 8 p.m. in the Bratton Recital Hall of the Paul Creative Arts Center on the Durham campus.

Members Robert Stibler, Nicholas Orovich, Paul Merrill, John Rogers and Larry Veal perform on period instruments including the cornetto, recorder, krummhorn, sackbutt, pipe and tabor and viola da gamba. Commentary comes courtesy of music historian Keith Polk, Professor Emeritus, UNH. The program is conceived by Robert Stibler and arrangements are by The Hampshire Consort.
