Pulitzer Prize winner speaks at UNH on April 27

What causes some civilizations to thrive and others to fail? What can we learn from their fates? Jared Diamond sets out to answer these questions in his latest book, Collapse: How Societies Choose to Fail or Succeed.

In a special appearance at the UNH Field House on Wednesday, April 27 at 7 p.m., Diamond shares his insight on this subject, and its relevance to our own society.

Considered one of the great thinkers of our time, Jared Diamond received a Pulitzer Prize for his longstanding bestseller Guns, Germs, and Steel: The Fates of Human Societies, which has since been adapted for a three-part television series to air on PBS this year.
