Technology conducting survey
Academic Technology (AT) is offering an online customer feedback
survey to help understand customers needs and ensure good customer
service. The AT Customer Feedback Survey is available at http://survey.unh.edu/cis/at.
Faculty: Please share UROP information with students
Faculty are asked to share the following information about the Undergraduate
Research Opportunities Program with their students. Proposal writing
workshops for students applying to UROP will be held for science
and engineering students Wednesday, Feb. 2, 4-5 p.m., Rudman Hall
Room 381, and Monday, Feb. 14, 12:30-2 p.m., Rudman Hall Room G79;
for students employing social science methodology Tuesday, Feb.
15, 12:40-2 p.m., MUB Room 207; and for all students Wednesday,
Feb. 16, 4-5 p.m., MUB Room 207. Application deadlines is March
2 for the undergraduate research awards and summer undergraduate
research fellowships. Students can receive credit and financial
support for research by taking INCO 590: Student Research Experience.

CIS to implement NetReg
Starting this month, CIS will begin implementing Network Registration
(NetReg) on the UNH network. Once NetReg is activated, computers
must be registered to gain UNH network access. Watch for posted
notices with details regarding the date NetReg will be activated
in your building. Please refer to the NetReg link located at www.unh.edu/cisnow
to view the general schedule for NetReg activation across campus.

Faculty: Please notify students about career fair
Faculty are asked to encourage their students majoring in business,
liberal arts and health sciences programs to attend the University
Advising and Career Center (UACC) career fair Feb. 3 in the MUB
Granite State Room. The fair offers employers an opportunity to
meet and interview sophomore, junior and senior students interested
in advancing their careers through post-graduation employment, leadership

Recycle your old cell phone
UNH’s Telecommunications Department is collecting old cell
phones as part of its recycling effort. Phones can be dropped off
at the collection box at Wildcat Wireless in the MUB. Please be
sure to deactivate phone service before turning in handsets. Cell
phones also may be sent through campus mail to UNH Telecom, c/o
Emily Moore, 1 Leavitt Lane, Durham, NH 03824. UNH’s cell
phone recycling program was developed in partnership with CollectiveGood,
which refurbishes and recycles mobile phones.
