UNH Traditional Jazz Series Presents 'Celebrate Clark Terry’s 85th Birthday With Us' Dec. 14

On Wednesday, Dec. 14, the UNH Music Department’s distinguished associate for more than 30 years, Clark Terry, will celebrate his 85th birthday on campus. In a concert at 8 p.m. in the Johnson Theatre his unusual relationship with UNH will be surveyed with a jazz orchestra and vocalists comprised of alumni from three decades, plus faculty performers, and guest artists representing various stages and influences in Clark’s long career, such as clarinetist Bob Wilber, guitarist Gray Sargent, and trumpeter Nicholas Payton. The public is enthusiastically invited to attend.

The concert takes place in the Johnson Theatre, PCAC at 8 p.m. Single Tickets are priced at $8, senior citizen and student tickets sell for $6 and are available at the MUB Ticket Office, Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and one hour prior to the concert.
