Our Images, Our Words: Children’s Art and Writing from Near and Far

Beth Olshansky, developer of Picturing Writing: Fostering Literacy Through Art and Image-Making Within The Writing Process, two art-based literacy programs directed from the University of New Hampshire, will be displaying art and writing produced by children from around the world in the lower level of Thompson Hall.  The artwork can be viewed during normal university business hours.

In an effort to honor children and share their outstanding work, Olshansky has produced an international art and writing exhibit of pieces created by children using her programs. Children’s work from England, Turkey and Belize will be featured along with artwork by children from Hawaii, Vermont, and New Hampshire. This exhibit is funded by Dupont.

Contact Liz Arcieri at 2-3691 for more information or stop by the exhibit located in the lower level of Thompson Hall.
