Music Department presents the UNH Wind Symphony April 27
 
The Department of Music presents the UNH Wind Symphony under the direction of Andrew Boysen in concert Wednesday, April 27, at 8 p.m. in the Johnson Theatre of the Paul Creative Arts Center.

This concert features the Annual Music Department Concerto Competition winners, and features many music majors. Horn player Lauren Becker will be the soloist in Reinhold Gliere’s “Concerto for Horn and Symphonic Band,” soprano Kimberly Oppelt will sing two songs from Kurt Weill’s “Happy End,” and pianist Jonathan Roberts will solo in George Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue.” Graduate student Rick Cook will conduct “Gavorkna Fanfare” by Jack Stamp and Gabe Cohen will conduct “American Salute “by Morton Gould.
