The camp is administered by Theatre Resources for You (TRY), which
provides the community with educational opportunities for youth
in performance and creative arts. In 1966, TRY was established through
a federal grant in cooperation with the New Hampshire Commission
on the Arts to provide children’s theatre programs throughout
the state. In 1970, TRY became a self-supporting, nonprofit educational
outreach organization, adopted by the UNH Department of Theatre
and Dance. In 1999, TRY expanded its theatre educational program
offerings for all age groups throughout New England. The programs
are funded by donations and program fees. |
