Marianne Fortescue, coordinator of UNH's Partnership for Social Action, has been appointed chairperson of the board of Volunteer NH!, an organization that oversees national service programs (AmeriCorps) in the state and provides training, recognition and a central site for volunteers and volunteer programs to strengthen communities.
